When my cousins and I went to Bacolod, my sister suggested that we should visit Balay Negrense, also known as "Victor F. Gaston House" located at Silay City. It is an ancestral home of  Victor F. Gaston built around 1890's. He is the son of Yves Leopold Germain Gaston and Prudencia Fernandez. Their family revolutionized the sugarcane cultivation and production in Ngeros. Now, this french house is a heritage site and was converted into a museum.
