COSRX One Step Green Hero Calming Pad Review

Hello, lovely people who are reading this! How are you all doing? I've been meaning to do a review about this cleansing pad, but for some reason, work and my laziness kept me from doing it. I know most of us have those lazy days, but I don't know why I feel like I'm always lazy. Maybe that's just me? Well anyway, I know most of you have heard about COSRX, they're my go-to k-brand when it comes to skincare.

Earlier this year, I bought my first COSRX Calming Pad and tried it out because it was on sale. Yes, I tend to buy and hoard stuff whenever it's on sale because that's the usual time where I feel like I can afford it. And it has been a while since I introduced a new product into my skincare routine. The thing is, it took me years to finally have a solid skincare routine that really works for me, that's why testing out products can be a bit scary for me. But then I decided to YOLO and tried this one because it's from COSRX. What could go wrong, right?

COSRX One Step Green Hero Calming Pad Review

And because I usually do my shopping online, when I got this, it was perfectly sealed in a box with bubble wraps. I simply love the minimalistic style and the COSRX mascot is just so cute. If you open the tub, it has a peel-off seal and inside it are the soaked pads. When it comes to things like this, I always want to stress out that a spatula won't hurt because it's hygienic. But it doesn't come with it, no worries though because they are easy to peel off. You just have to make sure that your hands are really clean.

I don't know about you guys, but I do store my toners and cleansing pads in the fridge because I don't have an AC in my room and it can get pretty hot during the day. I use this every after cleansing in the evening because it's the time for me to relax after a long day of work. The citrusy and refreshing scent combined with it being cold is really soothing.

The pad has two sides to it, the embossed side for exfoliating while the other soft side is for toning and soothing irritated skin. I usually use both sides of the pads just to get the moisture out of it.

COSRX One Step Green Hero Calming Pad Review

I'm just glad that I took the plunge and tried COSRX One Step Green Hero Calming Pad because I definitely love how refreshing it is on my skin. And whenever I have bad bouts of skin problem like skin irritation, this helps calm and soothes my skin. I don't use this during the day if I don't really have to, because right after the product settles on my skin. it leaves a bit of tacky residue, and I just don't like to pile on products with that kind of canvas. On the brighter side, the embossed side of the pad helps exfoliate my skin leaving it soft and moisturized. What's great about this product is that I don't have to use cotton pads anymore like what I usually do when I use a regular toner. If you have sensitive and acne-prone skin, then I totally recommend this product.
