Hello lovely reader/s! How are you all? I hope you had a blast last Christmas and had tons of fun with family and friends. While I stayed all Christmas morning cozying up in my bed reading books and catching up watching anime, part of me wants to go out and to dance the night away, or maybe just be with friends I haven't seen in a while. But typhoon Ursula happened so I basically just stayed inside wishing it's the other way around. And now that the new year is approaching, I can't help but be excited about what 2020 has to offer.
Months ago, I watched a documentary about The Minimalist on Netflix and it struck a chord into my heart. I watched Ted Talks, listen to podcasts, and even read articles about it to educate myself about the topic. And what I learned is very important not just for my mental health, but also about how I look and approach life from where I'm at. Right now, I'm decluttering my closet, beauty products I own, and my bookshelf. I'm halfway there and I'm positive that this will make a positive impact.
Hello, lovely people who are reading this post! How are you all doing? It's been a while since I updated my blog. I was just too busy with life in general, not to mention that my mental health is becoming worse these past few months. I've been exercising for a week now just to get my fill of endorphins. Still, I feel like there's something missing in my life. I know it sounds depressing but I'm taking baby steps to have a better state of mind and to channel where I'm at in life.
Hello lovely readers! I'm here today to share with all of you some of my favorite Prom Ball Gowns that I've discovered while I was looking for some inspiration. You know that I've never been to a prom before and it's something that I always wished I had. Wearing a beautiful and magical dress like in Taylor Swift's You Belong With Me music video will always be a dream. That moment when you are just an ugly duckling then one night, you'll transform into this beautiful woman. lol! A girl can dream.
Hello, lovely people who are reading this post! How have you been? Wow! It's been over a month since I wrote something on my blog. I'm sorry for being MIA this whole time. It's just that, I found myself rolling six feet under the ground once again.
Hello lovely people! How are you all doing? It's been almost a month since I started my diet. It's nothing really serious. I just eat less than I used to. In the first few days of my diet, I instantly lose my water weight. But since I'm the type of person who struggles a lot when it comes to consistency, here I am again on a losing track. I went back to my old ways and even have a hard time of portion control again. It sucks because I was doing really good.
Why, hello there lovely people! It's been over a month since I posted in here. I actually missed blogging, but I've been really with work and was listless that I just couldn't bring myself to do the things I usually do. It's probably because I haven't created a solid routine. Well, I will update you guys about how I'm doing, I know you don't really care and may think I'm too full of myself, but hey, you can always choose to skip or not read. lol!
Hello lovely reader/s! These days, I'm all about watching what I eat and making sure that I don't eat a lot of processed food. I stopped my diet many months ago because of the events that always brings a lot of yummy food on the table, I ditch my diet and return to my love for food, and in a very unhealthy way. Ever since then, I've been struggling with it, I guess I have to come to terms that I will always be someone who is a little bit chubbier. But then, when it comes to stuff like that, I'm never a quitter. That's why just earlier this month, I decided to get back in shape again.
Hello lovely reader/s! Two days to go and it will be the start of the BER months, and that will be the start of Christmas here in the Philippines. Christmas decors will be displayed and Christmas carols will be heard all over the place especially at the malls, but who doesn't love the spirit of Christmas? One of the many reasons why I love Ber months is that we'd be experiencing the cold weather, and it also means sweater weather for those people who love to dress up according to the season.
Hello everyone! How are you all today? I hope everything is great.
Earlier, I woke up pretty groggy because I slept really late, but then I have to wake up a bit early because I have to work. Good thing I shook it away after a couple of minutes of just laying in my bed staring at the ceiling unmoved. This has become my routine, and yes, while writing this, I still feel like I need me some shut-eye.
Hello, lovely people who are reading this post! How was your weekend so far?
Last Friday, I went to Cebu and I met up with my boyfriend and my sister at SM City Mall. I arrived around 7PM in the evening, we had dinner at Seafoods and Ribs Warehouse. While waiting for the food to arrive, my boyfriend and I talked nonstop because it's been almost 2 months since we saw each other. I guess you could say that we're on a distance relationship of some sort. We finished eating around 9PM and decided to start book hunting at the Big Bad Wolf book fair held at IEC Convention Center.
Hello, lovely people who are reading this post! How are ya'll? Thank God it's Friday! I hope you had a very lovely weekender and that you had accomplished each task that you need to finish. Anyway, I spent my Friday buying books and also meeting up with my boyfriend whom I haven't seen for almost 2 months. We had dinner together with my sister and he drove us to the place where book lovers go.
Hello lovely people! Here I am again with my review about one of my favorite products that I've been using for years. You see, I've been using this serum for as long as I can remember, it's actually my holy grail and I can't function well if I don't have this on my beauty shelf. This serum is actually a cult favorite and I know a lot of people who swear by this product. As I have admitted before, I'm not really one to try on new beauty products if I already have something that works for me. I've been using this since I started taking great care of my skin, back when pimples and zits define my day. lol! Looking back, I did try a lot of skincare products just to look a lot like human. Mind you, I still have hormonal pimples, but that's about it.
Hello lovely readers! How are you all?
Do you remember the time when I told you that I feel so sluggish? Well, today isn't any better, but I still forced myself out of bed and out of my head, so that I can get some stuff done that I've been neglecting for days. I hope things will look up for me for the rest of the day of the month. Did you know that I started doing Zumba again? But I can only do 10 mins. Zumba or else I would feel dizzy. I've been following a dance routine on Youtube, and most of them are kpop songs. Yeah, because who doesn't want to sing and dance pretending to be a Blackpink member? lol!
Hello, lovely people who are reading this! How are you all doing? I've been meaning to do a review about this cleansing pad, but for some reason, work and my laziness kept me from doing it. I know most of us have those lazy days, but I don't know why I feel like I'm always lazy. Maybe that's just me? Well anyway, I know most of you have heard about COSRX, they're my go-to k-brand when it comes to skincare.

As an introvert, shopping online has been my refuge whenever I need something. Ever since I discovered the joy of shopping at the comfort of my own home and preferably in my cozy bedroom, I realized that I can shoo my anxiety away because I don't need to have someone tailing me and asking me what I'm looking for. Imagine my discomfort of always being offered a product I don't need by a smiling salesperson, and me being all awkward. It's just one of those reasons why I don't particularly enjoy shopping unless I'm with my family or a friend. Yes, I'm that weird girl on the block. lol!
Hello, lovely people who are reading this post!
As someone who's never been to any homecoming event, I can only imagine how great it would be for me and my old friends to meet and catch up. It's been almost 10 years since my classmates and I saw each other, I wonder how their life turned out. Some of them are still my Facebook friends, they already have their own families and seem to be happy. While I, on the other hand, is still figuring out my place in this world. So in honor of homecoming events, I will share to all of you a site that caters homecoming dresses 2019.
Hello lovely reader/s! How are you all? It's been 4 days since I feel sluggish that I just don't want to get out of bed. I've been spending much of my time reading Reddit posts and answering queries from my customers. This is how I usually spend my long weekend, alone in my room doing all those anti-social stuff. Sometimes, I do wonder why I never tried to keep in touch with my friends, but then, I brush it off because I'm fine. I'm sorry if this intro didn't sound uplifting at all. So, I'm just going to stop. lol!
Here I am again with my wigs recommendation that I hope would be helpful for all of you. It's been said that hair is the crowning glory of a woman and that right there is a fact. I know a lot of people who would do anything just to have that perfect hair. Some of them are even damaging their hair because of constant chemicals being put into their head like it's no big deal. And the outcome would always be dry and lifeless hair. Aside from that, problems like hair loss and a receding hairline can be one of the main reason why a wig is in need. To prevent that kind of situation and maybe even save some money, I think it's a very wise thing to invest in a full lace wig.
Hello, lovely people on the internet! How are you all?
Last night, I watched Roman Holiday starring Audrey Hepburn. She was so beautiful in it. I am a big fan of her's and she's actually my life peg, not that it matters or something. You see I'm a big fan of old Hollywood movies, not only I love the story or the way they speak, but also because of their fashion and style. And if you're not so big about old movies but you've watched The Notebook or The Atonement, then you would know what I'm talking about. The characters of both Rachel McAdams and Kiera Knightley were wearing vintage dresses and I remember being so in love with it.
If you are one of the people who doesn't like to be in a big dress with too much lace, beads, and sequins, etc. Then I think you would be great wearing a minimalist bridal dress. If you personally want to look that way, then I guess you make the call and not rely too much on what's trendy right now. Being a minimalist doesn't have to be boring and flat, you don't really have to fully commit to no-style dress just to be called one. Sometimes, little details can go a long way, and it can also spice your look a little— giving it an edge while on the grounds of simplicity.
Hello, lovely readers who are reading this post. Here I am again with another post that features prom dresses. If you don't know, I haven't been to prom and it's one of the regrets I have in my life. It's a once in a lifetime experience. I can only imagine how I would look like if ever I went. But what really sucks was that our school never exercise such activities during our time. If I was able to attend, I would really choose sophisticated dresses because I'm all for it.
For some time, Gothic style was described as modern in comparison to the classical Roman style. To give the modern style an identity, the people of the Renaissance adopted the name from Goths; the barbaric people who had defeated the Roman Empire. Some people associate the term Goth with darkness, vampires and the occult but quite to the contrary. Gothic girls appreciate the fact that there is a morbid, dark side to life and express it through dark dressing but this doesn't make them evil and satanic.
Well, that was pretty fast. How come I didn't even notice that today is the last day of the month of July? I guess, I was too busy with work and coming to terms that I'm getting older and older each passing day. Two (2) nights ago, I was back reading some of my old blog posts, and I realized that I was a lot skinnier back then. The thing is, during those times, I always thought of myself as fat, I never really liked how I looked back then. I would try all the diet fads just to shed off some unwanted weight. In retrospect, it was silly of me to believe about everything they've told me, I should've really embraced how I look instead of worrying about it every night.
As the rain started to pour and made a relaxing background sound, I contemplated whether or not to sleep. A rainy Saturday afternoon is my favorite time to sleep in, but unfortunately, I'm just not too sleepy yet. So here I am in front of my computer. I hope the rain will not stop until I'm done.
Four (4) years ago, I was in dire need of a good toner, it was the time when I decided to take good care of my skin. I've tried many toners before I met this gem, although there are times when I like to be adventurous and try other stuff— I always come back to this because it's really suitable for my oily skin type and it never fails to deliver.
These days, my boyfriend and I don't usually eat out a lot just like what we used to. We find that staying and cooking at home is the best way to save money. I for one don't really like to go out if I don't really have to. But of course, we love to get our Japanese food fix from time to time, and yesterday, we went to Nonki Japanese Restaurant at SM City Cebu. The thing is, I've never been to Nonki before, because back when I wasn't dating my boyfriend yet, my sister and I don't usually opt for Japanese resto as she just doesn't like it— she prefers buffet-style and seafood resto. And because I'm introvert who doesn't like to go alone, and I also don't really have friends to hang out and eat out with— I was stuck. Everything changed when I met Henry.
Eversince I was a kid, I always enjoy watching anime. I remember running home from school after the class is over, with my heavy bag full of school books on my back, just to watch Slam Dunk and/or Prince of Tennis on the television. When every weekend means staying at home, trying get things done before 8am just to watch Hunter X Hunter and Fullmetal Panic. Nothing really changes when I got into high school. I think most of my classmates know that I’m a big fan of anime, I even started collecting K-zone, Otaku mag, and Neocomics. So yeah, I wasn’t a girly girl back then.
As girls, we're no stranger into carrying a lot of stuff in our bags, I for one need to have bag whenever I'm out. There was one time I went to a grocery store with nothing but my phone, wallet with cards in it, and some cash stuffed in my pocket. And oh boy, I looked like I stole all the candy bars out there and stuffed it all on my shallow jean pocket. I really looked uncomfortable and I was anxious the whole time I'm there. That's why I promised to myself that I would never do it again. Some lessons you need to learn the hard way. Since then, I always bring my small cute sling bag, just to have somewhere to put all my belongings.
We all know that June is one of the popular months to get married. Two of the people I know got married last month. Now, that the wedding season is over, you might wonder why I'm making this post, right? Well, actually September and October are coming up and like June, a lot of couples get married during these months. If you're like me, who loves to attend weddings, then you probably know that one of the highlights of a wedding is the brides wedding gown. Some of the brides get their gowns custom made or ready to wear, and they spend a lot of hours just by looking for that one dress where they could look and feel beautiful.
In this day and age, more and more people are becoming wiser when it comes to spending their hard earned money. They want it to be spent on something meaningful that will last them a couple of years. I myself is born from a family where saving is a top priority, and I'm glad that my parents instilled that discipline while we're young because now, I have this grasp about the value of money and what it really means to save. Of course, we are all different and we have different views about money and saving. The bottom line is that we should be smart and practical when it comes to buying stuff. We should know the fine line between needs and wants.
No matter how life seems so mundane, there will always be times when we get to dress up and go out for an event. It doesn't happen quite a lot, but when the time calls for it, we should be ready and look our best. Take, for example, Cinderella. She knows she will be going to a ball, she went and grabbed her moms dress to make it more appropriate for the event, of course by the help of her little friends. Later into that evening, we witness how her stepsisters tore her dress up while her evil stepmom watched with satisfaction. Although Cinderella didn't get to wear the dress that her friends put together, she still went and got the most beautiful dress given to her by her fairy godmother. It's been ages since I watched that Disney classic, so forgive me if it's not really accurate.
Happy Sunday to all of you lovely people who are reading this post! I know it's been only weeks since I last talked about wedding dresses, but here I am again bringing all of you great news especially if you're planning to settle down and marry the love of your life. I actually talked to someone earlier about what is the right age to marry. Knowing what I want when it comes to settling down, I immediately answer that my I would love to get married when I'm 33-ish. But I don't really know, and a lot could happen during those years. So let's just leave it to the universe.
Hello, lovely people who are reading this! How are you all? I bet you're here reading this article because you're looking for a skateboard online. The thing is, back when I was a kid, I always wanted to try riding it. Most of my guy classmates have one and they will use it every morning, and they just look so cool. Maybe it's just me but that's one of the reasons why I had a crush on that guy. No matter how hard I try to persuade my mom to buy me one, she always just say no.
Hello lovely reader/s! How are you all today? I just got off from today's shift actually, and now here I am again sharing with you my latest brand discovery called Popreal. Since my friends started having families, I'm always getting pointed as godmother of their child, which is nice by the way. The thing is, I only have so little time to do some shopping and as 'that' fashionable godmum, I want to give them clothes because I like seeing my godchildren with their cute kids clothes. Maybe if they're a bit older, I would give them books, but right now I'm just so happy because I finally know where to look if ever their birthday comes.
Hello lovely reader/s! How are you all? Now that summer is officially over here in the Philippines, rain is now dominating most of the days here, well I can't really complain because I'm one of those people who loves the company of rain. I can just take my book out, drink a cuppa, read in the corner of my room, and just get lost to another world. There are times though I have to get out of my room and do the adulting stuff like running some errands, and of course, knowing me, I like to look good and the rain won't hold me back from it. Good thing I stumble upon this site called Luvye, they have a lot of amazing and pretty clothes with many variations. So I don't have to worry about tightly wrapping myself up because they have sexy sweaters that not only will make me warm, but also will make me look good but still weather appropriate.
Here are some of my favorite sweaters that I really like from their web store.
Hello, lovely people who are reading this another entry of my Life Lately series. How are you all? How did your June go? Well, honestly, my June was pretty good, it just came by too fast, I remember writing my life lately entry last month, and here I am again. Where did all the time go? Anyway, this month taught me a lot of things: I learned to let go of things that no longer serve me; that it's okay to say no to your bosses; and that life is not a competition. Yeah, it took me quite a while to be able to figure that out myself, but I'm glad I still did.
Hello, lovely people who are reading this post. How are you all?
Well, in today's post, it's about how I celebrated my birthday with my boyfriend last Feb 9. We've been together for two (2) years now but this is the first time that we got the time to celebrate it together. I mean we're island apart from each other and whenever he's in the city, he's always busy with his flight. We actually planned out everything because he likes to plan stuff ahead, while I'm more like laid back. He stayed for the night at our house so we can go to the city together early in the morning. We got there around 11 am and we directly went to Vikings for my birthday lunch. We didn't get to wait for hours because he reserved a seat for us, 2 days before my birthday. So we just went inside the buffet-style restaurant.
With the evolution of technology over the years, it's no surprise that there will always be a way to be able to prevent things that are about to happen. Just like with osteoporosis, most of us accepted it as an inevitable part of aging. While it affects most of the women over the age of 50, what's even scarier is that we don't really know until it's there. Once your bones become fragile that's caused by a decrease in the density of bones, a person is exposed to developing fractures and signs and symptoms of back pain.
Hello, lovely people who are reading this post! It's been a while since I posted something like this. Actually, I have a lot of backlogs dating back to 2017! Haha! I know you guys might be thinking that I should just let it go and not post it anymore because it's 2 years old and a lot has happened since then. But you know what? Jokes on you because that won't happen. It might take too long, some of it might be posted next year, but I will still post it because I want my old self to be able to look back— that is one of the reasons why I decided to blog again. Anyway, those backlogs were from my travels and restaurant/cafe exploration. And oh! I just realized that I've only been active here for almost 3 months? So cut me some slack, okay?
Hello, lovely people who are reading this post. How are you all? You know what, these past few days have been a struggle for me because I really thought that my hair fall dilemma is over until my hair starts falling out again like crazy. It actually scares me because I don't wanna be bald or have a bald patch on my head. I don't know maybe it's because I don't get enough sleep or my hair is too long. Yes, I have a very long hair, like waist-long hair and I really don't wanna cut it for some reason. I thought I looked good with it. lol!
Hello lovely people! How are you all? Today's gonna be different from my other post the past few days. Let me introduce to you Fyystore they specialized in phone cases, tablet cases, and electronic accessories. Actually, this is my first time seeing a web store that sells cute things for gadgets and electronics, because whenever I need a new case for my phone or other accessories, I immediately go to malls even though I don't really like the style and design. I'm pretty girly when it comes to my phone and other gadgets, that's why I always try to buy the cutest I can find. You can just imagine how long for me to make up my mind on what to get, but in Fyystore, you will actually have a hard time choosing your favorite because all of them are cute and sleek at the same time.
Here are some of my favorite cases
Hello lovely ladies! How are you all? I actually got back from doing errands for today, I'm actually pretty beat because of the heat. I went to LBC to get some books shipped then to our local post office to get my parcel. Although I was planning to eat out, I decided to just go straight home and open because I was excited to open my parcel. It's been almost 4 years since my last visit to the post office, and yes, nothing changed except the fee.
So I'm a fan of rom/com movies and one of my favorites is Katherine Heigl's 27 Dresses movie where she always a bridesmaid and never a bride. What really struck me while watching that movie all those years ago was that she got a lot of bridesmaid dresses with all kinds of style. And talking about bridesmaid dresses, I think Jane Nichols would want to keep these bridesmaid dresses UK as a souvenir because look how ethereal they all are. Although I've never been a bridesmaid ever in my life, I think this dresses would be perfect in my closet full of dresses, because even if you're a not a bridesmaid, you can still wear these dresses as they are perfect for every wedding event, as long as it fits the theme .
Are you one of those people who love to attend weddings? And if you're there at the church waiting for the bride to appear, do you get excited when at last they will open the door and reveal the bride? I for one is one of those people. I love to attend weddings, and so far, I've attended 2 weddings this year. Isn't it amazing how a person can transform into this beautiful bride with just her wedding dress? That may be one of the reasons why women who are about to get married, make it a point to find the dress that they can feel comfortable and beautiful at the same time.
There's so many online web store that sells cheap women tops and I'm so lucky to have discovered Tiptopfree. While browsing into their site, I immediately fell in love with so many of their products, because they are so cute and so cheap too. If you don't know, Tiptopfree is a professional fashion shopping global online store, it’s featured by selling all kinds of fashion from women's clothing to men's clothing with high quality at the reasonable price and good customer services.
We talked about prom dresses during my last post and how they bring such memories even though I haven't even tried one, now here I am, scouring the internet just to find me some of the most beautiful prom dresses to feed my daydreaming mind. Luckily, I found 27dress.co.uk, and oh my god! I literally fell in love with all their dresses there. It's very princess-y that whenever you walk into a room full of people, their jaw would literally drop.
Growing up, I've always wanted to go to prom but because of the movies I watched, where this average gal gets dressed up and then she will get the guy at the end of the movie. But that never happened in real life, I never got to dress into a beautiful prom dress. My high school just went like it was just another requirement so I can go to college. I only have vague memories during those days and some of my friends I barely talk now. That's sad, right? But I guess that's just how life goes.
