Perks of Being a Wallflower

I always thought of myself as an old soul and that im different to everyone. Going out, mingling with the same  typical souls everyday was a very hard thing for me to do. Because they were all like all over the place and what matters to them is how famous you are, how many friends you have, how pretty you are, how skinny you are, how friendly you are, how smart you are... and i just can go on and on. When standing in a room full of crowds, the safest place for me was to sit into the corner of the room, just watching how slowly the time tick by. 


Being a wallflower can be tough, because you have to adapt, you have to understand why people treat you like you are just a waste in space. And mingling with loud people isn't a wallflower's thing. I know, i tried. People say that i am anti-social, that i am shy, but they're all wrong. They will never understand how its like to walk in a shoe of a wallflower until they do. The thing is, we wallflowers aren't shy or anti-social at all, it has nothing to do with it really. We just need reasons to interact, because we don't interact for the sake of interacting. Okay? Okay.

So, perks of being a wallflower? Well, i tend to be more reserved, i have small circle of friends but are trusted and loyal, so if you're one of my few friends, you better consider yourself special, very special. These perks might not be as big as your perks in life, but what matters is that, i am thankful that im doing what i love, i am spending my time with the people i love.

If you've seen my last post (here) then you already know that i got stuffs from www.banggood.com. I love how fast their delivery was and that all the items are exactly whats in the picture. That's the thing i love about an online store, if they pose to be good and reliable one and live with it? Then ill be supporting them all the way.

For the details of this look:

This Floral Chiffon Dress was from Banggood.com. When i saw this in their store, i immediately fall inlove because its just so feminine without being too showy and the prints are so pretty,and the chiffon cloth is just so complimenting.  I also love how slim i looked in this dress all thanks to the belt that comes in with this dress. 


And this Cat Head Shoulder Bag also from Banggood.com is perfect! I just love how cute this bag is, i gotta admit that i got a heart for kitties <3 I really thought that this bag would be small but actually i can fit a lot of stuff in here, i even used this in school and in the office, because its pretty handy while in style.

    Well, I don't consider myself as a wallflower naman.
    I could mingle to a crowd of people and be friendly to them and that's it.
    I only limit myself to friends who are also true, loyal and accepts the real me.
    Medyo cautious na rin ako sa pakikisalamuha sa maraming tao eh... marami na akong karanasan sa ganyan... ung tipong akala mo eh "okay na tao" sa simula, pero hindi naman pala...

    so ayun, maraming salamat pala sa pagbisita sa aking blog.

    from your pics i would never have thought that you have an introvert personality :) my boyfriend is also an introvert and he says the exact same thing (reason to interact part). me naman i used to be an extrovert turn introvert and now im trying to find a good balance between the two :)

    I too am an old soul, and in grade school and high school, I didn't have friends, I didn't want to hang out with other kids because I didn't like what they were into and they were so obsessed with beauty and stature (in school)

    Love the outfit! I really like the dress! And yeah, wallflowers aren't necessarily shy. Introverted maybe, but that being an introvert does not equate to being shy or having low self esteem. We just want to reserve our energy for things that are more important - not just socializing and allowing extroverts to suck our energies out.

I think being popular doesn't necessarily mean you have good friends and here's the catch: quality is way more important than quantity. If you have few good friends, you're a blessed person.
