Hello, lovely people who are reading this post! It's been a while since I posted something like this. Actually, I have a lot of backlogs dating back to 2017! Haha! I know you guys might be thinking that I should just let it go and not post it anymore because it's 2 years old and a lot has happened since then. But you know what? Jokes on you because that won't happen. It might take too long, some of it might be posted next year, but I will still post it because I want my old self to be able to look back— that is one of the reasons why I decided to blog again. Anyway, those backlogs were from my travels and restaurant/cafe exploration. And oh! I just realized that I've only been active here for almost 3 months? So cut me some slack, okay?
So my dear friends, last Saturday, my boyfriend and I went to the City because I have to meet up with my buyers (if you don't know, I sell books and earrings on IG.) He arrived at our house at around 8am in the morning, and by 10am we took off. First, we went to the atm machine near our place to check my card if my salary has already been added, but to my surprise, my card is deactivated! That's why we decided to just start our journey. Around 12nn, we arrived at Naga and I urged my boyfriend to buy iced tea and burgers at Jollibee drive-thru because I was thirsty, then we continue with our journey.
By 1pm we finally arrived at SM City Cebu but my first customer decided to leave before we arrived because we are actually an hour late and I forgot to check my phone. But bless her soul, she told me that she'll still get the earrings. We blame the traffic! So anyway, after a few hours, I decided to ship some of the earrings and books at LBC but I canceled the earrings for the reason that their shipping fee is really expensive, apparently, jewelry cost higher than books. While I was waiting for my turn, my boyfriend went and met up with my second buyer. After that, we went to the Globe office and finally updated my home wifi connection.
While we're walking out of Timezone, we stumbled upon this art gallery. I basically dragged my boyfriend into seeing it because I wanna see it badly. You can check how serious I am while looking at one of the paintings. I actually forgot who the artist was :(

After what feels like an eternity to my boyfriend, I finally decided to go to the Booksale. I don't know about you guys, but whenever I went to a place where I know there'll be a bookstore, I will always check it even if I won't buy anything. I just love the vibe, the smell and the feel of the books against my hands. And yeah, I didn't buy any books. lol!
Me feeling so happy because I finally found my favorite bread—cinnamon danish! Okay, I don't usually go to Starbucks because for me their prices are ridiculously expensive and I'm poor. We were just waiting for my other buyer, but we thought that drinking something cold would make us less tired from all the walking we did. We settled ourselves and talked about stuff until my customer arrived. After we ate it all, we're back on our feet again, but this time, we went to Ayala Mall—yes, we're meeting my buyers again.
When we got there, it was still early and buyers were still on their way, so we went to Fullybooked and killed time there. I wanted to read that book I'm holding, but my boyfriend kind of don't want me to because of issues. haha! And look at me all tempted and sad at the same time while holding the GOT book. It was too expensive I had to put it down. haha!
When they arrived at our meeting place, I finally drag my ass out of the bookstore.

It was around 6pm when we finally finished all the errands and we were both famished and couldn't wait to eat. So we decided to visit Sumosam and tried their Japanese cuisine. While waiting for our food to arrive, we basically took a lot of selfies—well, I actually forced him to pose with me haha. And when the waiter brought our food to our table, we were in awe because the serving is big and pretty too. My boyfriend basically ate all his food while I was having a hard time finishing my omurice because I just can't eat it all. We asked them to wrap up the leftovers so I could bring and finish it at home— which I did the next morning haha.
We went home at around 7pm and arrived around 9pm because it's a 2-hour long drive. What a day that was!

ReplyDeleteYour day sounds fun! I'm scared of meeting up with buyers because we would never know if there are crazy people out there but you have a boyfriend who sticks with you so it should be ok. Nice to read your weekend errand.
